Yes I know I am breaking my own rule here, but this needs to be said.
First off, I don't want to hear any from Tony over this. Your posts in here will be deleted, so don't even bother.
Lets start from the beginning. A few shows into the start of EXW I started volunteering to set up and break down the ring. I didn't mind helping out at the time. I was still paying to get into shows at this time. Then there was the Prescott Valley show that Barnett himself told me I would only have to pay half price for because even though I was short on cash, he wanted me in the front row to help the angle that Freak Squad was doing with Toom. I said ok, when I went to get the ticket, he didn't have change for my 20. He told me that he would "Buy beer" for me at the show to make up for it, which I never got. Also I was one of only 4 people to help set up the ring for this show, seeing as how no one really wanted to help set up the ring.
From time to time I filled in on video camera, still camera, and ring security. I helped them out whenever they needed it. Barnett himself told me I didn't have to pay to get into the shows, that it was cool cause I was helping. I don't know if it was out of jealousy or what, but Tony (the production guy not the ref) was disrespectful of me from the start. They guy constantly talks trash behind people's backs. A lot of people do not like him, most of them just won't say anything so as not to upset anything for themselves. I never got any recognition for the pictures I took at the Duce show, even though they are constantly used in advertising and all that. Also I designed the original Xtreme Measures DVD cover. When I was told to do it, I was also told to just use the low resolution photos from the website and was not given access to anything. Suddenly my cover was not used and they went with a crappy looking generic dvd cover that had their stock photos they use in everything. Oh but wait that couldn't be used either.
I was asked last minute to run a video camera at the Aug 16th show cause they were short a cameraman. I said sure why not. Then I took heat from Tony for walking in the back door and not paying to get into the show that I was to be working at.
That brings us to the last show. I came in off the smoking patio after talking with Brett outside. We both sat down at Toom's table to watch the boring show. About half way through I get security Chris coming up to me who was sent over there by Tony. He said I had to pay or leave. I brought up the fact that Barnett had said it was ok, and everyone knows I have been helping out when I was needed. I was then told I had to pay double because I didn't pay to get into the previous show (the one I actually worked) or leave. I did neither. I stayed to watch the Willie Mack/MMJ match then got up, let everyone know that I would not be back cause I was done with the BS.
Now I hear Tony has been tooting his own horn over on twitter about how he is a hero for kicking me out and banning me....yeah right. You cannot ban someone who is not going to come back anyway. I also heard he is making some sort of reference to someone helping out a shoe store expecting free shoes or something. What he left out was the part about how that person was not paid for his work and was expected to pay the store for the "privilege" of working for them.
Get over yourself, you aren't that special.
And a little disclaimer here, I have no problems with the wrestlers in EXW, I do respect you all for what you do and enjoy the show you put on. Mainly this just falls on Tony and the shit that spews out of his mouth. I just can't believe people fall for it.
