Man, what can I say? Seriously...what can be said? I missed the last show due to work & I come back to THIS?!?! Was Vince Russo in the building tonight? Because that's what it appeared to be. I know shows have uphills & downhills, but there was no paying attention to history at all in this show & death of continuity. Ok, so continuity doesn't exist in wrestling, but it's usually best to allow it to exist in the same show! And I guess we didn't learn anything from double booking at Xtreme Measures, did we? After all, 2 matches pretty much had the same exact idea/booking concept to it! So let's just begin.
You know what....let's end, right here & go backwards today! Because there was a whole hell of a lot of Lows!
Lows:
Heavyweight Championship Match is the curtain jerking match. Andrew Hellman tricks Dom Vitalli with fake injury neckbrace would have been fine IF Mike James didn't later on in the show trick Rexx Reed by returning from an injury, as well, in Shadow Fox's costume. Oh look...2 similiar trick ideas in 1 show! So Mike James is not allowed to wrestle Rexx Reed sanctioned by EXW for risk of further injury, but Andrew Hellman can wrestle Dom Vitalli while wearing a neckbrace? There's that silly continuity issue. Not to mention the man who's refusing to allow Mike James to wrestle Rexx Reed for risk of injury is the same man (Steve Osborne) who forced an injured Ryan Castelucci in the ring to referee not 1, but 2 shows while still injured...which could have further injured him. Darn continuity. Pinfalls in a Table Match? Why the hell was the ref even counting? Plus, don't Table Matches usually follow Tornado Rules & not tag team rules? This had to have been 1 of the worst promos from Val & Derrick. What's the point of a tag team championship again if it's in Japan? If the Heavyweight Title has to be defended at least once every 60 days, then what about the tag titles? Josh Carey needs a better name. That name just doesn't work! Darkside looks like a cheap knockoff of Black Dragon. And wasn't that enjoyable, either. Josh Carey/Crash Test Cody was a sloppy match that made Cody look like he fractured his arm. Way to many promos in this show. It's like we had one every other match. You would think to drag more folks in, they would advertise the Tables Match more in advance then hours before the show. The service sucked tonight, but that's not EXW's fault. No Johnny Manson....that gimmick is over with the fans. The worst Tables Match I have honestly EVER seen...and I have seen many! Face it folks...the "Sal's gonna die" chant is officially DEAD when you're chanting it while Sal's beating the crap out of somebody. Doesn't look like he's going to die to me.
Highs:
Return of my boy, Monster! Great to hang with him & see him up & healthy again! Mosh Pit Mike/Clutch Match of the Night Clutch had a perfect dropkick for a man his size Return of Mike James Return of Sal, but as the Pali Prince. That beatdown he gave Josh & promo he cut was brilliance. And that Rock Bottom into a sidewalk slam looks like an incredible finisher! Ray Basura/Cutler Wright was a strong match. Cedric took a couple of airborne moves that had him bumping, looking sick as hell. Definetly MVP of the night! Good use of the TK's pole by Crash Test Cody. Gallo kept his mouth shut & off the mic....plus, no match. Just the way we like him if we're stuck seeing him...even though he can't see us!
So now the next show has an Unsanctioned Match between Rexx Reed & Mike James...at least we're advertising that. Maybe it will be more XTREME then that slop called a Tables Match. Because since Xtreme Measures, where we saw 1 whole table bump, it seems xtreme just doesn't exist anymore! Unless it stands for Elite XtremelyGentle Wrestling?

I don't trust the opinions of a guy who still wears tie-dye shirts in 2011.

Best show at Toby Keith's in a while. Crowd was VERY hot. The few matches we got to see were some of the best in a while.
We got two main event matches. Hellman/Vitalli was worthy of a main event. Basura/Kid Vegas was a great match, only time a roll up is an awesome ending is after a kick to the crotch.
The only thing that comes to mind as an "OMG! THAT SUCKED!" was the lack of a Rexx Reed match. He's half the reason I show up to EXW shows.

Yeah, there was about like five or six promos each. At least Basura kind of poked fun at that.
And as much as I like Bad Intentions, it was a mistake putting the tag titles on them since they are so involved with NJPW and now NOAH, too.

I don't trust the opinions of a guy who still wears tie-dye shirts in 2011. You do realize my tie dyed shirt is actually designed by me & was made to pay tribute to a man who I considered a friend by the name of Peter Goodman, right? If ya read the shirt closer, you do see that.

The Venis/Neikirk promo killed me. We got the same thing last show. I understand that they are trying to build up the match, but where is a Bad Intentions promo? The whole night felt flat to me. If you are going to open the show with a championship match, the rest of the show better deliver. In my opinion it really didn't. we only got a couple of really good matches and a holy shit moment with Reed/James.

I have no problem with Bad Intentions having the belt if Bad Intentions actually acknowledged having the belt. Had they brought the titles with them to Japan & were announced as EXW Tag Team Champions, imagine how many more hits EXW would get on Facebook, youtube, their own website because people were looking up on the web just to see who EXW is. But no, they're not. There was a chance for world wide recognition & it was blown. Hell, they even could have defended the EXW Tag Team Titles overseas & nothing!

Willie Mack/Rexx Reed was a Match of the Year Canidate. Kyle Hawk/Willie Mack was far better then what was seen last night! Hell, Mosh Pit Mike/Kyle Hawk was great! Mind you, I missed last show, but Dom Vitalli/Frenchy Riviera has to be Dom's best title defens to date! And all that falls in the category of a while since they date back to June 7th, 2011. All those matches were MUCH better then matches on last night's show BY FAR!

Still, I hope that tables match is the definite concluder, as The Buisness is a pretty textbook example of "Thrown-together Team".

Matthew Greening Despite what some dirt sheets are saying, the 7/19/11 edition of EXW Xtreme Tuesday was the best show I've seen at Toby Keith's in a long time. And it's hard to think of anyone who was done this as unbiased: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Naosix/Dom_Vitalli

I'm a Dom Vitalli fan. So what? I wanted to get him on wikipedia because he's so awesome. By far the best performer on the EXW roster. I don't go to a lot of EXW shows. Money is tight for some reason. I go to maybe 1 show a month. So my view of "good shows" might be a bit slanted. I've been bored with the EXW product for a while now. Just seemed stale for a while. That's my opinon.

Matt, you forgot to mention Dom's appearance as "Don" on Superstars...
Anyway, next show I am wearing my Lil Nate tie dye shirt and I encourage other EXW fans to make Adrenaline Rush for 8/3/2011 tie dye night.
Oh and those nachos I had were the worst I've ever eaten at Toby's...even worst than the Haboob ruined ones. The meat was dry, the whole thing as cold, and it took forever for it to be delivered to me. (They claimed the kitchen was backed up...but that looked more like it was a wait staff caused problem than the kitchen staff...thought the dry meat was mainly on the kitchen staff.)

I gave up the wikipedia entry when they told me that Dom's entry had "nothing noteworthy" in it. That's why they didn't publish it.
But I will include his brief stint in the WWE on the webpage I am making.

I think it was at the Macho Man tribute show, Hellman exited through the crowd pushing our table out of the way. A beer glass fell and broke. Took Toby Keith's over an hour to clean up the broken glass and beer.

But I will include his brief stint in the WWE on the webpage I am making. Brief stint? Getting a try out match to see how you handle yourself on a tv program like Superstars isn't a brief stint unless you're given an enhancement contract like they did with the likes of Steve Lombardi, Barry Horrowitz, Barry O, & Lanny Poffo in the 80's. Dom on the episode was more of a "We don't want to bury our own guys so let's get this local guy to do the job" guy. It's cool that you like Dom. I think Dom is very talented in the ring, but his mic skills have gone downhill as of late. He has no gimmick, as he's busy trying to imitiate Gallo while Gallo's busy riding Dom's coat tails, & he's to busy being Gallo's little "Yes man" outside the ring. Funny fact, but while the crowd was chanting Pappa Smurf at Andrew Hellman, Dom yelled, "That must make me Gargamel!" Yes Dom...that's you. And Azrael is Gallo. And look....here's Gargamel Beaten by the Smurfs...as usual. And sadly, Gargamel has no friends but his little kitty cat. I'm also curious as to how I'm a dirt sheet? I'm not reporting anything...I'm merely giving my opinion.

"Someone in charge there mocks his fans, so we're going to do more of the thing he mocks while continuing to support him financially." Makes sense to me.

I was once told that this is a business to make money. So it's not about the fans or what they think, as long as money is being made.

Shocker, someone who works for EXW doesn't trust their fans. Because it's not about what fans want, is it? Nope. I was once told that this is a business to make money. So it's not about the fans or what they think, as long as money is being made. It is a business to make money. You dont think those guys out there every other week dont deserve to get paid to do what they do? They dont want to do that for shits and giggles and for free. Its something they want to have a career doing and do for a living. So yes, money being made is VERY important. No money means these guys go out there risking it all for what? No money means no names being able to come in for you all to see. No money means NO SHOWS PERIOD. But here is where you are wrong. True I do work for EXW, but false, I do trust what the fans say and think, most of the time. I listen and read what fans are saying because fans are the ones who bring in the money. They buy the tickets, they buy the shirts and DVDs and all else. So if fans aren't happy, fans stop showing up, and when they stop showing up, money stops being made. So, pull your pants out of you buttcracks. There are some that understand that giving the fans what they want is also what puts money in peoples pockets who drive thousands of miles to put their bodies on the line.

DVD's? 1 DVD was made. We still haven't even seen the promised Bad Intentions DVD!
But hey, I am all for the wrestlers getting paid. Why else would I pay to attend the shows? (And yes, I do pay) So Mosh Pit, Kyle, Cutler, Adan, & everyone else who travels from near & far deserve every single penny they get (if you guys actually do give them money, which I hope).
So maybe listening to every fan is a good idea. You don't have to agree with them on what they say, but maybe take it into consideration. Because Tuesday night's show sure as hell shows the fans were not taken into consideration or the same angle wouldn't have been booked twice in 1 show...for the second show ever! That insults the fans & says, "Sorry, we have nothing better for you...so here's what we did earlier, only with other folks!"

Just to ask though, out of everything from the last show, what was the best moment?
