As the Road to Bad Intentions continues on, this show was far better wrestling-wise then the previous Xtreme Tuesday, as the selling point really was the kids. I mean, let's be honest...other then the EXW Loyalists who attend Xtreme Tuesday, do you really think one of these parents in attendance will drive to Prescott for a show? No offense to EXW, but the kids didn't know the storylines or angles going on, had no idea who the faces or heels were, but they were getting to see some live wrestling action right there, in their face, & in their school. To the kids, these guys flying around the ring & punching each other were Gods & they were ready to yell & cheer for anybody...plus pound on them for autographs, that every wrestler was more then happy to dish out. School shows are fun for this, no matter what promotion. The kids really are the show, but some do get carried away a bit. And the wrestlers love to perform for the kids at these shows. And the Fulton Science Department makes the money to further educate the future of America...and that's all that really matters today!
And now that I am off my soap box, onto the Highs & Lows!
Highs:
Johnny Manson/Mike James STRONGLY the Match of the Night. These 2 guys put on a wrestling clinic like no other tonight & the kids loved it!
Mike James' best match since coming onboard EXW!
Dom stayed away from the microphone for once & didn't try to put himself over the little kids!
Derrick Neikirk's promo at the beginning...I don't know why, but listening him badmouth little kids & call them illiterate, plus telling them not to buy his shirt after he read it to them because they would be lying to their friends...LOVED IT!!! I honestly hate to say it, but his best promo yet.
Manimal chasing Dom around the cafeteria & the kids following like they were a train was classic comedy! Just what the night needed in a fun main event!
Chuey's kid friendly music!
The return of "Dom! Hey Dom!" Kids love it, fans love it, & when done properly...it works, Dom hates it! Plus a good way to empty out the bad air in the lungs.
Sal showed that he can wrestle tonight!
Val Venis' speech putting Sal over after the match...I bet that really made Sal feel good!
Stratmore given Roxx a nice little going away gift & a sneak preview of what Dom's going to get Saturday by punching him.
Cutler Wright looked good for working 2 matches. Mic-wise & ring-wise, that man has got a strong future!
Derrick Neikirk interupts Roxx so we don't have to listen to Roxx putting himself over for the kids.
Manimal gets a main event match...he's fun!
Prophet/Khan Kussion was a strong second match of the night.
Lows:
Johnny Roxx trying to put himself over to his students & not even allowing the other teachers equal mic time...come on Roxx, ya egohound! Just cause ya work there doesn't mean you need to show off! Plus, you don't need to ring announce...damn egotistical, glory hog! Give somebody else the ring announcing mic if Rob can't make it!
There were kids throwing popcorn at the wrestlers & one kid actually threw a soda can. Do we need another Massive Twinkie Incident with an 8 year old getting a Sprite can shoved in his face? Really? Be responsible kids!
When we yell for you to put the dress on Roxx, YOU LISTEN!!
When Ryan threw his Fulton shirt in the crowd, an adult actually reached over a kid to catch it. REAL CLASSY ASSHOLE!! Somebody wanna whip that adult? Maybe Dom can bore him with another 3 hour promo?
Khan Kussion looked like he dislocated his shoulder...that sucker was sticking out big time!
No Rob!
No Gallo! Sure, Gallo was probally preparing or in the gym, but he could have used tonight to send some kind of message to Frenchy. After all, Frenchy just wrestled his second to last match with EXW!
Would have liked to hear what Tyson has to say about his match Saturday against Bill DeMott!
No Mosh Pit Mike!
Love Khan Kussion, but his music seemed WAY out of place in an elementary school.
That new referee doing the TWOOOOOO with the devil horns...like he was trying to put on a performance & be the center of attention. How many times ya gonna yell TWOOOOOOOOOO dude? And why the hell does he need to wear a hat to the ring? Little tip buddy...referee's don't get gimmicks. They go out there, call it down the line, & enforce the rules....that's it!
Remember folks, these are my opinions & my opinions only! You are more then welcome to share your thoughts in the thread, disagree with me, what ever you wish (as long as it follows the rules).
And come join me Saturday @ Bad Intentions in Prescott. It's not to late to get tickets. I got ring side seats, myself. I am stronly looking forward to this show...and I will have a Highs & Lows sometime this weekend about it!
