Now THAT'S what I'm talking about! Honestly, after the last few shows...tonight has made up for it. The focus appeared to be on wrestling for a change, with storylines taking the backseat. In an honest to goodness standing room only crowd, with hopes of everybody paying & no comps, this is probally the show EXW should have done to try & bring more fans in.
Think about it...every single match was a singles match. Every single match was STRONG! And the main event had me scared when announced, but thank god my fear was let go! So without any further words, here we go!
Highs:
JM Punk....Manson's gimmick continues to be comedic gold! And the fact that Manson can work a great match makes it even better. But the Straight Edge, Pepsi logo, & cobra insignia drawn on him just made his indentity theft of CM Punk that much better!
This had to have been JB Badd's best match since debuting in EXW!
Mosh Pit Mike/Kyle Hawk & Cutler Wright/JB Badd tie for Match of the Night.
Dom Vitalli/Frenchy Riviera...something new & definetly second Match of the Night!
No Steve Osborne!
Cedric the Hitman gets more mic time. That guy is incredible on the mic.
Pepsi Plunge chant!
Frenchy Riviera gets promo time at the start of the show...I miss Frenchy getting solo mic time!
Giving credit where credit is due, as Val Venis/Gabriel Gallo was a strong match for both men!
Woody working over Tyson's leg the way he did....how he continued the focus on the knee. Woody's best match in EXW ever!
Mosh Pit Mike appears to be back to his roots of his EXW debut & not following the rules!
Nice roll out of the Pepsi Plunge by Shadow Foxx into a roll up for the win.
Frenchy's farewell speech & the respect from the workers in the back, as well as the fans afterwards. Thank you Frenchy.
Great to see Adan Reyes for another show! And his music does fit better then AC/DC!
Lows:
If you don't like the match, just shut up people! Chanting "boring" during a match = disrespectful! And yes, even if it is during Gallo's match, it's STILL disrespectful.
No Giant Bernard. I would really like to hear what he has to say!
This was Frenchy's last match in EXW. And yes, as good as a match it was, it gets a low because it's a shame to see him go.
That knot on Frenchy's head after hitting the ground. I could see that thing all the way on the oppositte side of the ring.
Cedric the Hitman having to be carried out after Willie's corkscrew. I seriously hope he's Ok!

This may get me in trouble, but as my previous reviews show, I don't care...but I know some of the wrestlers have animosity towards IZW & what not, as we the fans see things different then what is really going on since we weren't backstage. But ripping on IZW is really not needed in the ring. Don't try to turn the fans on IZW...90% of the EXW fans have no clue what IZW is for starters, & those that do know that IZW gave you a place to wrestle in Arizona. So don't bite the hand that fed you. Off soap box!
It's honestly hard to say that there was one terrible match! And it feels good to say it, as well. Because tonight is really what wrestling was about...wrestling! And as a fan, this was a solid show from top to bottom. I was sitting with 2 EXW first timers & they loved what they saw & want to come back...which is exactly what needs to happen!
And having Frenchy wrestle Dom...even though Dom won FAIR & SQUARE, I might add....was a great way of ending the chapter of Dom "the Bomb" Vitalli & Freak O'Suave Frenchy Riviera...THE REAL FREAK SQUAD!
